Ask for a Franc-Comtois where you have to go to make a Christmas market worthy of this name, it will answer you without hesitation: the Noël Christmas lights. Beautiful decorations illuminate the city and its monuments (including the castle of the Dukes of Wurtemberg, St. Martin's temple and the Halles) for almost a month, giving it a magical and dreamlike appearance. Nearly 160 craftsmen display and offer local dishes, traditional decoration and other regional know-how. Do not miss the passage of aunt Airie, the good fairy of the country of Montbéliard, which crosses the city with its white donkey. Santa Claus and his pockets filled with papillotes are of course also part of the game.

Les lumières de noël de Montbéliard correspondent au marché de noël. On y trouve de nombreux stands avec des objets à vendre et bien sûr de quoi manger, avec une place dédiée à la partie gourmande, ce qui est pratique. La ville est aussi illuminée et le marché se concentre autour du Temple Saint Martin ce qui est bien pour tout voir.
