The inn is located in the Tapinois de Bétoud hotel dating from the 15th century. The setting is warm: the exposed stones and the magnificent beams give the place a rustic and soothing charm. The cuisine, traditional and classic, celebrates the products of the Périgord region at modest prices. The dishes are simple, but rich in flavor: escalope of foie gras with truffle sauce, omelette with ceps or chanterelles, duck breast with orange sauce and potatoes with Sarladaise sauce are among the specialties. On s’est retrouvé avec des entrées prêtes en 2 minutes, ça pose question!
Un jambon cru avec une odeur infâme…mais visiblement il était bon, ça doit être la raison pour laquelle on nous a offert 8 digestifs à la fin!
Ce restaurant reste un vrai mystère…
En étant à Sarlat on s’attendait à avoir des cuisses de Canard et un magret frais mais nous avons dû nous tromper!
Encore un bel attrape touristes…
