In the village, the restored Romanesque church contains 17th century statues, an 18th century altarpiece and a 17th century Christ. The figure of Georges Roqual, historian of the Périgord, better known in Saint-Saud as the village priest under his real name of Georges Julien, is evoked here. In terms of landscape, this string of granite and ponds is the ideal configuration for the forges, which can be found in Lamaque and Vieux-Moulin. If you follow the road along the river towards Champs-Romain (right bank), you will notice the change of landscape: the calm valley suddenly becomes wild and the crops give way to steep rocks
