Travel Guide Novella

A village of character, situated at 400 m above sea level, which offers, from the San Colombano pass, a wide panorama of the surrounding mountains, the Agriate massif and the sea. The very impressive cornice access road leads to an old village with houses with large facades. The Orabona house, built in the 19th century, offers a beautiful view over the whole plain. Its baroque church of Santa Croce contains a painting of the Virgin who miraculously cries. A few kilometres from Novella are the ruins of the village of Cruschini, which was deserted following the battles against the Lords of San Colombano.
