When to go to Calvi ? All year round of course! If the summer is favourable for maritime leisure (beach, swimming, water sports...), it is also the high season. Tourists are therefore very numerous, and accommodations are more expensive. If you have the possibility, opt for the front or back season. The months of May-June and October-November are also very pleasant. It may be a little cooler, but you will have plenty of time to enjoy the city and its surroundings. The water temperature is very mild from April to May. Note: Holy Week (April) is one of the main attractions of the city. It is very interesting and attracts many tourists.
Calvi's climate is, like most of Corsica, Mediterranean. The city benefits from an almost permanent sunshine (more than 300 days of sunshine per year) and an average temperature ranging from 15 °C in winter to 30 °C in summer. In autumn, maximum temperatures are around 26°C in September, 20°C to 22°C in October and 18°C in November. Spring is also pleasant with 19°C in April and over 26°C in June.
