With its small fishing port of Giottani and its high perched hamlets, Barrettali embodies the archetypal Cape Corsin village with its giant tombs such as that of the Calizi-Altieri family, visible above the road, which dates back to the 1930s and which has been nicknamed the Pantheon for its obvious resemblance to the Parisian monument. The path of L'annunziata (distance: 1.9 km, duration: 1 hour and 10 minutes, yellow markings) allows you to discover the tombs facing the sea as well as the rich flora of the Furcone stream and the majestic Genoese bridge leading to Canari. Barrettali lived in the 19th century from the cultivation of citron, recently revived by the Calizi family.
