Vico is a big village full of character, spread out on a wooded slope. Its architecture is made up of superb stone houses, with inscriptions on the facade, connected to each other by stairways. The valleys of the Liamone and the Sagone river are ideal for numerous walks. Vico has a past as a water city as shown by the thermal springs of Caldanelle, now abandoned, and the ruins of the thermal baths. Other remarkable ancient vestiges can be found in the region, such as the statue-menhir of Apricciani (called Sagone I), or the statue-menhir (called Sagone II), reused in a wall of the ancient cathedral.
