It is a village perched on top of a wooded hill, with old granite houses well fitted out, with beautiful outside stairs, where you can find beautiful carved bas-reliefs. The parish church has a semicircular chevet and a massive side bell tower. You can also see the remains of the ancient Romanesque abbey of San Paolo. Until the 19th century the dead of Giuncheto were buried in caves on the outskirts of the village, the sapare. There is a well-maintained and signposted 3-hour looped discovery trail during which you will have beautiful panoramic views and wander through rich and typical vegetation.
