Small town of character since 2014, the particularity of the town is to have been totally destroyed during the Great War and entirely rebuilt following the urban grid of the Middle Ages. The buildings were mainly rebuilt with locally made clay-silica bricks and red tiles. Some buildings, however, were rebuilt in stone and slate roofs, in keeping with their original style: the town hall, the post office and the church. Dating from the 12th century, the church dedicated to Saint Cyr and Saint Julitte was enlarged and embellished in the 15th century in Gothic style and was partially rebuilt after the war
