The Périgord hides some legends, and Saint-Front-de-Pradoux is one of them: the apostle Saint Front is said to have lived as a hermit in a cave under the church built in the 11th century. It is from him that the village would take its name, completed by the term "pradoux" which means "small meadows". Unfortunately, the church did not survive the wars of religion, only the choir dates from the 15th century, while the rest of the monument was rebuilt in the 19th century. The town hall of the village is located in a former presbytery from the beginning of the 18th century, listed as a historical monument since 1974. The village, along the river, offers nice walks.
