This old fortified village has lost its feudal castle but retains a certain charm: it kept its halls and its fortified porterie in the th century. It is classified as a th century church and a few beautiful Renaissance houses. There have been some excellent wines since: a white from the Chardonnay grape, a red and a sparkling wine. In the th century, the wine of Montsaugeon, already known, was that of the bishops of Langres.
