Jeanne d'Arc Historical Trail in Haute-MarneTo relive the Joan of Arc's epic on foot, horseback and mountain biking, you must follow this route. Joan of Arc, aged 19, part of Vaucouleurs in February 1429, in Chinon. She will try to persuade the Dauphin Charles VII to give him an army in order to issue France of the English. The route of the hiking route respects the main historical stages of the epic: Echenay, Fish, Saint-Urbain, Blécourt, the Blaise crossing, Colombey-les-Deux-Churches. The route, marked from east to west, with Jeanne chevauchant his destrier and colour (white and blue), is punctuated with directional arrows and mapped and historiés panels. On 107 km, this trail allows to discover very varied landscapes: valleys, plateaus, forests, vineyards… and taste the true nature of Haute-Marne.
