Museum featuring a rich collection of over 12,000 tools, all of which have been used in some way or another, divided by trade, theme or monograph.

The MOPO, Maison de l'outil et de la pensée ouvrière (House of Tools and Working-Class Thought), now a familiar sight in Troyes, is pulling out all the stops to make a name for itself. A jewel of 16th-century Champagne architecture, the Hôtel Mauroy is a living example of the expertise of the Compagnons du Devoir, who restored the building in 1969. The exterior, which is open to the public free of charge, is an impressive example of serenity in the heart of the city, while the museum exhibits over 12,000 tools!
