Church built in the 14th century, with an elegant twisted bell tower
Built in the 14th century, it is the oldest church in the city and was enlarged and partly remodeled during the following two centuries. Its elegant twisted bell tower gives it its originality. Saint-Rémy is the least known of Troyes' ten churches, perhaps because of its rather rural silhouette. The spire, torso because twisted, is curious to say the least. It is the only one to have this twisted bell tower. Stubby and squat, it dates from the 14th and 16th centuries. The series of panels painted in grisaille has been restored.
