Read moreLe Fournil de la Cité is located near the Cité church. Tables inside and on the terrace allow you to enjoy a pastry, a savoury pie or a sandwich. Everything is homemade by Jean-Pierre Gorbath. It is said to be the best bakery in Périgueux. The pastries vary according to the season or the inspiration of the pastry chef. At the end of Sunday mass, on the mornings of feast days or on Sunday afternoons when almost all the bakers in the city are closed, it is crowded.
