For 35 years Martine Piat and his antiques store occupied the ground floor of the House of Consuls which is put on sale. She left her half to regret, because the shop was not visible from the street and you had to descend a staircase. It crosses the bridge of the Barris to settle rue Pierre-Magne, not very far from Thierry Authier, another antique shop. However, what does not change is its activity. But how to describe the Maison Piat? Antique shops? Dealer? Collector of all kinds? We do not know too much. For years, it has unique parts, antique fabrics, hand embroidered linens, furniture, trinkets, mirrors, decorative objects.
