Géraudot, called Aillefol until the end of the 17th century, was one of the places where the Templars settled. It was the cradle of the Commandery of the East, founded in 1231. Reduced by 500 ha for the impoundment of the lake, the village can now boast a beach facing south, sheltered from the wind and at the gates of the forest. In this green setting, you will find small shops where you can take a break for a meal, a refreshment bar or ice cream, and even an area reserved for launching boats. You can discover the Picarde peninsula, creeks and meanders, a paradise for fishermen and birds, while walking or doing the fitness trail.
