A little air from Spain blows through Lou Bombareau thanks to the patron saint of the place Anita, an Andalusian woman who has lived in Périgord since she was a child. She is in the kitchen and Estelle in the service. The cuisine is homemade from local products and the market. The beautiful moulded counter perfectly coexists with the contemporary furniture. The apple green colour, applied by touches here and there, gives you immediately the desire to sit down and eat. In one of the rooms, the ceiling recalls the cave of Lascaux with its famous prehistoric drawings. And to complete the charm of this place, a terrace on the side with wisteria that serve as a parasol. The chef makes simple dishes carefully prepared, well presented, and above all of high quality. The menu is only composed with dishes prepared with good fresh and regional products. The owners come from Normandy and the menu is subject to both effects. The homemade foie gras and its toasts are delicious, the Périgord salad is well garnished and the walnut cake is delicious. Le Comptoir is also a bar where you can take hot and cold drinks throughout the day.
