The commune of Controis-en-Sologne was created in 2019 following the merger of the communes of Contres, Feings, Fougères-sur-Bièvre, Ouchamps and Thenay. It is a very interesting starting point to visit the region. You will find there charming lodgings and restaurants for a relaxing and greedy pause. Between the Sologne vineyards and the Sologne forests, this commune has many assets. The castle of Fougères-sur-Bièvre is worth visiting, with its rich history and remarkable architecture.
