Mondoubleau is a small town typical of the Bas-Perche, a region endearing by its authenticity, its hilly landscapes and its architecture close to the Norman half-timbering. In the architectural heritage of Mondoubleau, there are five buildings listed as historical monuments. There are the castle of Mondoubleau, the manor Rocheux, fortifications, a half-timbered house, and a house of the seventeenth century. The remains of its fortress are limited to few things but remind us of the rich medieval past of the city.
