Although the site has long been listed by Unesco, it is a private individual who is going to save, embellish and showcase the astonishing story of Cro-Magnon! A museum takes you back to the 19th century to discover the scientific ins and outs of Périgord's most famous man. Discover his anatomy (a man measuring 1.80 metres) and challenge misconceptions about him thanks to an educational trail. To mark the 150th anniversary of his discovery (2018), a time capsule has been buried with 150 letters to be read in 2168!

Le petit musée est très intéressant et assez bien fait, on y apprend comment s'est faite la découverte de l'abris et des squelettes, et on découvre comment vivait Cro-Magnon. La petite balade dans les bois avec les bruits d'animaux préhistorique est sympathique.
