One of the most important Upper Paleolithic sites located 3 km from Les Eyzies in the direction of Périgueux

The Laugerie-Haute site is one of the most important Upper Paleolithic sites: it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has delivered bone industry, art objects as well as an abundant series of carved flints. The site is located 3 km from Les Eyzies in the direction of Périgueux (RD710) and requires reservations for the guided tour at the Grotte de Font-de-Gaume. It is possible to park in front of the site.
