One comes to Lassay-sur-Croisne mainly for its cute little Renaissance castle floating above the moat. You can admire the matte pink Sologne stone building and its rigorous construction, which was used as a setting for the 1960s TV series Thierry La Fronde. The Château du Moulin became a museum dedicated to the strawberry in 2005 and has now closed its doors, much to our disappointment. Until further notice, it will have to be seen from a distance. For a break of a few hours or a night, Lassay-sur-Croisne has a charming restaurant as well as a few good gites and guest houses
