He also gave his name, without knowing it, to the most delicate and fragrant rose, the famous Pierre de Ronsard rose, which is the delight of gardeners... It is therefore essential to make a long detour to the Manoir de la Possonnière and to go and meet the poet who was unfortunate in love in order to "pick the roses of life today"... Carpe Diem !
