Le Buisson-de-Cadouin is best known for the abbey complex of Cadouin, which can be discovered along a winding road in the heart of the Bessède forest. Until the early 20th century, many pilgrims came here to prostrate themselves before the Holy Shroud. Don't miss the Cistercian-style church, the magnificent Unesco-listed cloister and, to the rear, the former convent buildings. Le Buisson, meanwhile, is a road and rail junction. Nearby, don't miss the Cabans church, a fine example of 14th-century Gothic bell-tower architecture. So there's no shortage of things to discover in this little town!
