Located 30 kilometers from Romorantin-Lanthenay, Chémery is distinguished by its medieval castle, a fortress dating from the 12th century. Now a private property, it offers guest rooms or can be rented for a wedding. The walk through the village continues with a visit to the church and, like any village on the river, the visitor will admire the remains of a mill fed by the Renne canal. A bucolic stroll that is very much appreciated in fine weather! For wine lovers, wine growing is still very present in this village with 9 wine growers producing AOC Touraine and local wines in particular.
