Saint-Brisson-sur-Loire remains a beautiful stop on the way to the castles of the Loire. The village has its medieval fortress bequeathed to the commune in 1987 by Anne de Ranst de Berchem. After an obligatory visit to the famous castle of Saint-Brisson, you must admire one of the oldest Romanesque churches of the Giennois - Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Brice -, the priory of Sainte-Marie and a rare polychrome wooden Christ dating from the 15th century, in the cemetery, which is by no means insignificant! Between plains, valleys, hillsides and forest, you can wander happily among jazz concerts, the pumpkin festival, the European contemporary art fair, a whole program!
