Place du Martroi, a self-respecting town in Orléans, whose name comes from the word martyr.

You can't avoid the Place du Martroi. The name "Martroi" comes from "martyr", and it was precisely here that, at one time, exorcisms were performed... Nowadays, people stroll, cycle, walk and children enjoy the imposing Palace Jules Verne carousel, which turns heads like the pages of this adventurous writer's books... In winter, the Ferris wheel opens up a panoramic view of the city, giving us a different view of the city. Jolie place centrale d'Orléans. Récemment restaurée en pavée. Desservie par le tram, parkings à proximité, notamment le parking du Martrois où vous pourrez voir les vestiges d'une ancienne arche. Pleins de restaurants, cafés et boutiques à proximité. Super agréable en été, mais également en hiver puisque c'est ici qu'est installée la grande roue !!!

Très jolie place pavée au centre d'Orléans avec en son milieu la statue de Jeanne d'Arc. Tout autour de cette place, de grandes artères avec les restaurants et les magasins.
