Bistronomic restaurant offering cuisine influenced by Damascus specialties with a subtle touch

Närenj (Syrian for "bitter orange") is a bistronomic restaurant located in a beautiful half-timbered house in the old town. Nabil and his wife Sousana, a Syrian couple, will share with you the flavours of their country of origin in a friendly setting. The cuisine, based on beef, chickpeas, pistachios or aubergines, is strongly influenced by the specialities of Damascus, enhanced by the subtle touch of the chef who prepares seasonal dishes and regularly changes his menu. We spend an excellent moment to make our papillae travel to the Middle East.

Nous avons ma femme et moi même, dîné pour la première fois dans ce restaurant, conseillés par notre fils et nous sommes très satisfait du repas. Ce restaurant qui vous fait découvrir une cuisine du Moyen-Orient avec une petite touche française mérite à être connu. Les plats sont raffinés, bien présentés, commentés par la serveuse. Nous avons découvert des saveurs que nous ne connaissions pas, entre autre, la glace à la fin du repas, succulente! L'accueil est chaleureux, nous conseillons ce restaurant à ceux qui désirent goûter des plats qui sortent de l'ordinaire.
