Ilex, Latin for holly, is the arboretum's 500 species (hybrids and cultivars), set amid 130 varieties of astilbe, 250 clematis, 150 daylilies, 150 hostas and 80 maples, not to mention the botanical trees and shrubs here and there along the banks of the Mauves. This garden seems timeless, so enchanting is its diversity that it intoxicates both the eye and the spirit. In the land of the author of the Roman de la Rose , a world awaits us that takes us back in time.

Bien sûr de nombreuses variétés de houx mais aucune fleur de clématite. Entretien minimaliste de cet arboretum. Dommage l'environnement est magnifique.
