On April 28, 1429, Joan of Arc would have stopped in this village located on the border of the Loiret and Loir-et-Cher, on the river Cosson. Some houses, made of brick and half-timbering give its character to the village of Ligny-le-Ribault See also the parish church, the old wash house and the eco-museum dedicated to the old trades of the Loiret. But the main curiosity of Ligny-le-Ribault lies in its tile factory, the only remaining model of the hundreds of examples in the Sologne.
