Petit Futé's opinion on LES ABEILLES DU PÉRIGORD

Jacques Laugénie has been a beekeeper for over 40 years. He is at the heart of his operation to make the secrets of bees discover and share his passion. He explains during a guided tour, both didactic and playful, how he manipulates them, how he extracts honey, how he makes the different products. Finally, it is the only one in Aquitaine to work on the genetics of bees and to achieve crossings. It stores the semences seed and it practises artificial insemination in a laboratory… In July and August we attend every Tuesday and Thursday at 15 hours in extraction. The visit ends with a tasting.
