When to go to Tours?

When to come to Tours ? As the cradle of the French Renaissance, Tours can be visited all year round, with its fantastic historical, artistic and architectural heritage. Nevertheless, as Tours is a city of green spaces, April-May-June and September-October are certainly the best period: the weather is pleasant (although a bit humid) and the city is relatively quiet. Because of its proximity to the Loire castles, the city is very popular in the summer, the hotels are more expensive and there are many tourists (French and foreign).
