Located next to the Palais des Congrès, Le Chien Jaune is a restaurant with an old Parisian bistro style and a neat 1930s-style decor, with small tables and a lively terrace. A la carte dishes include: VGE soup, beuchelle tourangelle, quail stuffed with foie gras and trou tourangeau. The wine list is exceptional, surely one of the finest in Touraine. The establishment was successfully taken over in 2023 by Jean Poirier. The atmosphere is relaxed, the setting incredible and the service pleasant.

- pas de truffe dans la purée à la truffe,
- trop peu voir pas de fois gras dans la cannette au foie gras
- pas... ou vraiment trop peu (et en bouillie) de ris de veau dans la beuchelle
Cadre très sympa et service excellent pour l’une des deux personnes en salle et vraiment pas terrible pour l’autre.
Au global nous avons passé un bon moment et je remercie l’établissement pour le geste commercial suite au constat... tardif d’absence de truffe dans la purée.
