Under beautiful arcades in La Bastide, the past is in the heart of this walk who took this name after a love story dating back to that time. In a book by Voltaire, "Essays on the morals of nations" the anecdote is told there. From this house where he lived some time, the future King Henri IV sent a letter of love to Diane of Andouin called "La Belle Corisande". Today, it is with love that you can settle in this warm room where wood, beige and rosé are a great place to taste traditional périgourdins dishes, salads or pancakes.

Excellente crêperie ! Le service est très agréable, avec des serveurs souriants et efficaces. Une mention spéciale pour leur attention aux allergies : une carte des allergènes est disponible, et le personnel reste très vigilant lorsque l’on signale une intolérance.
Les crêpes sont délicieuses, la viande également, et nous recommandons tout particulièrement la crêpe fraise-basilic — un vrai délice !
Nous y revenons à chaque fois avec plaisir.

Lunch on brocante Sunday, very very busy. The staff worked hard and managed to keep the service pleasant and not too slow.

The food - galettes in our case - was tasty, served hot and it was just right for a Sunday lunch.

Prices correct, venue pleasant with a view on the market place.

We'll be back.
