Among the many Christmas markets in the North, the one in Lille is often cited and much appreciated, with nearly 80 chalets on site.
On the Grand-Place, it is impossible to miss the two great symbols of Christmas in Lille: the famous Ferris Wheel and its neighbor, the gigantic fir tree draped in brilliant colors! On Place Rihour, you can discover the charming little Christmas village made up of 90 chalets displaying gifts, Santons, decorations and festive products, not forgetting of course the de rigueur sweets. Readings of Christmas tales, face painting workshops, mini-concerts and a visit from Santa Claus: the magic is in full swing! At Christmas, the whole city is dressed in lights.
