An essential coffee shop! We drink a little coffee in the morning. There is a brunch on Saturday. It is restored at noon with a wide selection of sandwiches, pies, burgers… on site or to take away. Its owners, committed to the values of sharing, passion and pleasure, delight us with their cupcakes, brownies, cookies, cheesecakes, scones with orange marmalade, muffins, lemon tarts, carrot cakes, muffins, sponge cakes... not forgetting the inevitable crumble! Once you've tasted them, there's only one thing you'll want to do: go back for more "so British" wonders..

Beyond the welcoming and warm welcome, the supreme word of the place is undoubtedly the quality. The place is resolutely modern, with large design and light spaces with a clean line open on a lovely terrace. A nice surprise in the heart of downtown. The map is structured around all the finest gourmet burgers, but also dishes dishes on site. The products are carefully selected as much for their quality as for their rarity, to see the map of teas. The brunches served on Sunday morning are worth a detour. Beautiful initiative: The café stroller allows young mothers to come together with their offspring and to meet their friends in a place where children's cars are allowed.

Calling all fans of gourmet vegan and vegetarian food: Lucile Walet's café (aka Lulu Magic Food) is now open! Her homemade pastries (gluten-free brownie and pistachio/orange blossom financier, banana bread and cookies of all kinds...) are accompanied by a cup, a drink to choose from among her far too tempting recipes.

This treat for the taste buds translates into a tasty savory offering of spicy buns and noodles with balance. How about a baker's bun topped with feta, roasted sweet potato, red cabbage, spring onion, lettuce and peanuts?

A tea room with a colorful decor that's both soothing and sparkling, Nuts reflects the personality of Luaine, an enthusiast who offers original drinks and gourmet pastries inspired by Japan: Be Nuts (hot matcha/peanut butter/salted caramel drink), Schtroumpfette (blue candy-flavored drink), matcha/caramelized peanut cookies, black sesame/white chocolate marble, yuzu madeleine, sesame brioche?

These are just some of the preparations that give rise to explosions of flavors that are no match for the colors on the walls of Nuts!

Happy to introduce you to her Korean specialties, Yiwen presents a varied menu that's as tasty as it is exotic, and entirely homemade. Mandoo, spicy-sweet fried chicken, stir-fried rice with kimchi, rice with braised glazed pork, tteokbokki, sweet-salty-spicy rice cake, matcha pancake cake... Her recipes transport you to Seoul in less time than it takes to eat them!

The only downside is that you'll need to get there early to get a seat in his small, intimate premises. Otherwise, the takeaway option is just as delicious..

It's hard to sum up Takk in just a few words... What's certain is that you can come here to work or relax, share convivial moments at exhibitions, workshops and meetings, have a drink and, above all, enjoy home-made sweet and savory treats for breakfast, lunch or a snack (the home-made twix is a real treat!). The place is both elegant and warm, bright and soothing. You'll feel right at home, especially curled up on one of the comfortable sofas! Come and see for yourself!

In her cosy, elegant, old-fashioned premises, she offers you recipes that are "just like home", comforting with their familiar tastes that are always a pleasure, especially when cooked with love. Come to Chez Juliane for a Sunday brunch that's as hearty as it is delicious, topped off with her undeniable specialty: tartelettes!

Le Waf is a must-visit address in Lille: in fact, it's the first café in Europe dedicated to our canine companions. Ideal for those who love dogs but can't own one. You can sip your coffee or tea (self-service) while offering these affectionate companions a pat and a scratch. A portion of the proceeds is donated to partner associations. A great way to treat yourself while doing a good deed... With its original concept and relaxed atmosphere, this is a place for dogs! A good address to discover.

Small tea room with a flowery decoration, really nice! When you enter, you will be amazed by the incredible choice of homemade cakes, each one more appetizing than the other. The reception is particularly pleasant, they explain you with care the composition of the delights of the day... Good luck to decide ! The proposed hot drinks are full of flavor. We especially like the latte and the hot chocolate! From noon to 2pm, they serve very fine and well prepared dishes, in accordance with the seasons. On Sundays, it is possible to have brunch, with reservation.

Emilie and the Cool Kids specializes in cookies, but not only! This small chain of cafés plays the conviviality card, with a colorful interior and playfully designed cards or trays. Of course, there's no shortage of delicious homemade cookies, but you can also treat yourself to a milkshake, bagel or salad. Sunday brunch is also available. All in all, a great place to have lunch or a snack, even if it doesn't displace some of our favorite Lille tea rooms.
