Monuments to visit Balearic Islands

Located at the beginning of the Formentor Peninsula, it dominates the sea and the road leading to Cala Pi and further to the Cabo Formentor. At the end of the sixteenth century, it was erected almost 400 m above sea level to monitor the coast visited, very regularly, by Turkish pirates who came to plunder the villages surrounding the area. Fans of strong sensations and beautiful landscapes can take the N 710 road. This is the route of watchtowers (viewpoints sometimes surmounted by old fortified towers). It runs along the coast that is discovered from the Al de Sa Gran (343 m) to which you can access very quickly after the exit of Andratx. This beautiful route offers many opportunities for stops, including those of Ricardo Roca and His Animas. The road runs through peaceful and picturesque villages.

Classified as a historic monument after the 1949 treaty, this megalithic monument dating from the time of Talayotic (1000 BC) is relatively well preserved. It looks like the very many of Minorca.
