Time difference Sicily
No time difference with France, just a different notion of time!
Opening hours Sicily
To see / To do Sicily
The opening hours of museums and tourist offices are similar to those in France. The same goes for churches and cathedrals. Many cultural institutions are closed on Mondays.
Enjoying yourself Sicily
Sicily being a very touristic country, the traditional trattorias are usually open every day for lunch and dinner in the middle and high season. In winter, the opening hours change and some places close.
Take a break Sicily
Cafés are usually open very early, with early morning workers sitting at the bar to drink a ristretto before heading out. Bars close at the same time as in France, but the bars and clubs close much later.
(To) please yourself Sicily
The opening hours of the clothing stores of the big brands are the same as in France in the big cities. The small shops, on the other hand, always follow the siesta time. They close around 1pm and do not reopen until around 4pm.
Get out Sicily
Concerts and shows are held at the same times as in France. The clubs also close in the early morning, especially those located on the beach lidos.
