In a little less than two weeks, the 92nd Academy Awards ceremony will take place, a landmark event in cinema in which the film Les Filles du Docteur March has been nominated in several categories, including Best Picture. On this occasion, the Massachusetts Film Office has set up a film tourism map to visit the locations where the feature film was shot, including the cities of Boston, Harvard, Lawrence, and 19 locations throughout Eastern and Central Massachusetts, such as William Hickling Prescott House in the Beacon Hill neighborhood and The Orchad House, home of the Alcott family, which now houses a museum. The film is based on the novel and writings of Louisa May Alcott, a native of the town of Concord, Massachusetts. A good idea for a trip, combining American heritage and love of cinema.
