The Pub de la Brasserie Mira is one of those must-visit addresses for fun evenings on the Bassin. Mira, we already knew the name and even the beer of the brewery created by Jacques and Aurélien, two local children with a passion for hops. They conceived and created a first range of original beers, brewed with spring water from the Bassin and identified on the bottles by a chimera. Mira beers have never ceased to seduce connoisseurs, so it was only logical that the brewer-malters should follow through on their ambition by opening this pub.

As soon as you enter, the copper brewing vats stand out and announce the production site, from brewing to labeling, a site that can be discovered through guided tours. La Manuf is the story of a group of friends, their craft beer tasting club, and a dream: to create their own brewery. Their recipes are the fruit of a collective effervescence, while remaining true to their identity: beers with a strong hoppy character. At La Manuf, we like to innovate, and these activists of good foam have launched Le Labo. Every month, 3 new barrique brews make their debut, limited editions with surprising flavors. Did you know that the Montmorillon brewery dates back to 1843? It was located in Saulgé and its beer was the best-selling beer in Free France during the German occupation before closing in the 1960s. In 2015, it was the entrepreneur François Guillon who decided to give the Montmorillonnais their beer back by brewing on site. He has not managed to get his hands on the original recipe, but he hopes to give it back its letters of nobility. From now on, the brewery produces artisanal and organic beer, as well as lemonade and cola.

Gilles and Etienne de Conti, two cousins from a family of Bergeracese winemakers, manufacture their organic beers in a small building which, as a decoration, has planted two feet of hops. After a lot of commotion around the world, they had the idea of creating their own beer in the wine country. The name Lapépie comes from a local expression: it means that we are thirsty… Brune, blonde or blonde beers are made from natural products: water, organic malt, hops, yeast and sugar. They are fresh with a very mild bitterness and easily marry with all the dishes.

Two young brewers have launched this craft brewery, the only one in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards. They have seven kinds of very creative beers, marketed under the BBF brand: Lager, American Ale, English IPA, Session IPA, Blanche verveine, Ambrée and Blonde Belgian each with its own character and personality. The founders of the Brasserie Artisanale Bio La Nòvé wanted to create a local organic artisanal brewery, which is the human alchemy. It was born in September 2019, constituted as a SCOP. It is part of the Social and Solidarity Economy and therefore has a dual economic and social project. It is on a former military site called ESCAT that the Brasserie La Nòvé has come to lay its bottles and malt. This site is atypical, the vestige of a disappeared Perigord industry.

The Argentonnay craft brewery, which produces several kraft beers: blond, white, pale and flavored (chocolate, honey...). It also produces the excellent Mon Chéri gin. Le P'tit Brasseur opens its doors to you every Saturday afternoon, between a tour of the facilities and a tasting session.
