Estelle Bonnaud is France's only weathervane maker, and the only craftswoman in her category to work steel with hand shears. In addition to her weathervanes (models or custom orders), she makes entrance bells, signs, candleholders, incense holders and key rings. Visit her workshop: you'll discover her tools and know-how, which she has inherited since 2004 from a self-taught master. You'll find her creations all over France.

The L'Orange bleue bookshop created by Frédéric Inizan, a green politician from the Sarladais region who left to travel the world, has become a textile printing store. Taken over by Julie Negrevergne, and more recently by Chloé Lasserre, the store offers a vast selection of "souvenir" textiles, as well as objects such as mugs, key-rings and soft toys. The company offers a personalized printing service on a wide range of materials, for unforgettable events or gifts that stand out from the crowd (bed linen, household linen, toiletries, etc.).

2017 is the time of change for this store which is always placed at the top of a venelle from the port. Mr. and Mrs. Petit left but the store couldn't shut up! Florence decided to resume it and to pursue the same unique concept: offer both design and contemporary objects all for budgets and in all fields (watchmaking, art of the table, decoration…) and always some sweets side groceries with the Brothers Wedding teas.

36 quai des Arts is the store of artists and craftsmen stamped Métiers d'Art. You can find a selection of unique creations: lighting, sculpture, ceramics, leather goods, jewelry, etc. It is an associative space that creates events: one Saturday a month, the 36's breakfasts take place, during which you meet an artist in the spotlight; we also offer DIY workshops (1h30, 20 euros), such as lampshade making. It's an exciting place, located a stone's throw from the Sèvres and the Donjon museum.

Jean-Marie Laberthonnière exhibits his paintings in his home studio, evoking atmospheres of the Creuse region. First, he relies on precise sketches made on the spot, in the manner of the ^19th-century painters who frequented the region. Then, his paintings seek to translate the soul of the landscape, to make us feel the presence of the elements, the texture of things. He is always available to explain his inspirations and his work. A studio well worth a visit during your artistic sojourn!

Since 2018, behind the courthouse, Les Fourmis Rouges has been a boutique for designers and talents who make things in-house, for a reasoned, local business. Around twenty designers, almost all from the department (or nearby), take it in turns to welcome visitors to the boutique. They are available to talk about their unique and varied creations: jewelry, ceramics, home decor, fabrics, objects, delicacies...

It's the Christmas market spirit all year round, in an atmosphere teeming with little gifts for all occasions, and for yourself too.

Yannick Beaupuis, aka l'ornithorynque périgourdin, is the man behind this approach, which is much more than a laser-cut store. He's a creator of riddles and puzzles (for all levels, including experts) and jewelry, as well as creative paper-cut items and beautiful souvenirs linked to the Périgord region, and a publisher. Yannick is happy to guide and advise you through the beautiful objects he has created.

L'Atelier de l'Oculus is both Eliane Roulet-Rochette's boutique and a showcase for local artisans. The clothing and hat designer likes to play with the colors and materials she uses. A fan of bias cuts, she imagines reversible jackets of great comfort. Her unique pieces regularly combine the creations of other artisans: ceramic buttons, days of Angles ... In her store, she welcomes other creators of jewelry, cartery, cutlery, ceramics, soaps... A place conducive to exchanges!

Eric and Laurence's boutique is a treasure trove of new finds. You'll often leave with something for yourself or to give as a gift: kitchen objects, wooden frames, linen, model gabares, vases, cosmetics, wooden furniture, recycled sail handbags... Anything to do with the sea can be found here. The store is home to works by several artists from the Arcachon Basin. We love the digigraphy at the entrance. This superimposition of photos gives us the impression of a shack in front of Manhattan.

In her studio, Myriam Chesseboeuf creates illuminations and calligraphy. After 13 years in Quebec, she returned in 2022 to the city of her childhood. Artisan d'art, Best Craftswoman of France in 2019, observe her technique. She composes her color palette using pure pigments, mixed with egg white, honey... recipes from the Middle Ages! She also uses gilding to sublimate family trees and copies of old manuscripts...
