The Maison des lacs houses a club house, an exhibition room on the large lakes of the Seine (IIBRBS), and the harbour master's office for the information and reception of boaters.

Bar, snack bar, barbecue and games for children will be offered to spend a relaxing moment dedicated to fishing. You will be loaned a trout fishing line. Considered the green lung of downtown Metz with its 5.4 hectares, the Plan d'eau appears as the main summer gathering place. While sportsmen and women have a blast in the skate park or on the city stadiums, strollers take advantage of the path to go for a bike ride, walk or rollerblade. Sanitary facilities are present: WC, showers (the use of soap is not allowed), but also benches, tables for lunch ... Accessible only to pedestrians or cyclists to ensure peace and quiet, there are playgrounds and several relaxation areas. It is an ideal place for families, especially since it is possible to access it with a stroller. For the pleasures of water, it is possible to rent a "pedal boat" (from 2 to 6 seats) or a classic pedal boat to sail on the lake where swimming is prohibited. You can also go for a walk in the surrounding forest in a gyro-pod! Practical: a small restaurant is regularly open at the galleon.

With the arrival of the first rays of sunshine, Lac Achard (a former gravel pit) is a popular spot for summer bathing and outdoor recreation. You can choose between a sandy beach and a large lawn to put your towel down and bask in the sun. And for those who prefer to let off steam, there are pitches for volleyball, soccer or pétanque. And if the weather turns nasty, you can take refuge in the nearby Hardt swimming pool. Water quality is regularly checked and swimming is supervised during the season.

An ideal site for fishing, the pond also offers peaceful spots and walking trails for observing the flora and fauna. The Langatte leisure park is a lively place, with a beach for swimming and sporting activities in summer, including paddleboating, pedal boating, canoeing, kayaking and a waterslide. It's also possible to enjoy the surrounding nature on a boat or while fishing on the pond. Access by the RD 466 towards the Balloon of Alsace 3 km from Sewen. At the edge of the Doller valley imagine an array of rocks, waterfalls and dark forests. In the midst of all these warm colours, a blue croquée étendue on the canvas taking the form of the Barrage lake dam, derived from the work of glacial erosion, proudly rises. The dam was built between 1884 and 1887 during the German occupation to regulate the flow of the Doller. Already in 1883, the Germans had achieved a 30-foot dam in order to raise the level. Inaugurated in 1888, the dike was hailed as a technical prowess at the time. The reflections of the rocks and the deciduous forests, the promontoire of a chalet, the foam of the Cascade waterfall are part of creating an enchanting array. Leaving Senones in the direction of Petite Raon, you can take a trip to Lac de la Maix. Covering an area of 2 hectares, this lake has managed to preserve its wild character, giving rise to various legends. The lake of Bouzey is used as a reservoir for the Canal de l'Est. It is a real leisure base that has been set up with campsites, restaurants, two beaches, one of which is supervised in high season. A small sailing base allows you to learn water sports. The tour of the lake is possible by bike or on foot thanks to a cycle track, it will not take you more than 1h30 to do it. It is the ideal walk after a good family meal on Sunday, without real climbs or descents, it is accessible to all. For the youngest, many playgrounds have been set up

Colmar's version of the beach: a vast expanse of sand and a superb, safe stretch of water set in a green setting. Swim lane (150 m long by 5 m wide), paddle, pedal boats: you'd think you were on the Riviera! There's also the super aquapark, which is all the rage with its slides, trampolines, diving boards, climbing walls and other fun, aquatic inflatables. The Etang de Gondrexange covers an area of 700 hectares, rich in biodiversity. Numerous activities have developed around the pond, including hiking, cycling, mountain biking and nature observation. Created by fish-farming monks in the Middle Ages, the pond is also a popular fishing spot for connoisseurs who come to track pike-perch, pike, carp and perch. The lake of the Orient Forest has been the playground of most of the Trojans. An undeniable asset for Troyes, it is located about 25 minutes away and city dwellers don't have to travel far to enjoy this 2,500-hectare natural setting, which offers dykes, beaches and windsurfing. From March to November, this lake (the largest and oldest of the three lakes on the site), nestled in the heart of the beautiful Orient Forest, is transformed into a real place of life dedicated to swimming and water sports. You will also discover a luxuriant fauna.

The lake of Bouzey-Chaumousey is located 8 km from Épinal. Fishing and sailing cohabit on this lake. Beaches have also been set up to cope with the summer crowds. For everyone's safety, lifeguards supervise a part of the lake. A magnificent natural site conducive to a moment of relaxation a few minutes from the city. For the sportsmen, a cycle track goes along the canal and connects Épinal to Bouzey, a walk accessible for all levels. A magnificent panorama that will move you in summer and winter.

This stretch of water between the station and the bypass is in fact the result of the extraction of the materials needed to fill in the bypass put in place in 1988-1989, between the "Moulin" and "Bruyères" interchanges. With a surface area of nine hectares, the lake is perfectly equipped for visitors in search of greenery and leisure activities. On sunny days, a refreshment bar appears on the terrace of the latter!
