Sailing Lorraine

The sailing base welcomes groups and individuals for the practice of nautical activities such as optit, catamaran, canoeing-kayak. The base also offers sports activities: ATV, archery, rollers… The site is designed for picnic.

Would you like to discover sailing sports or sail with the waves? Strasbourg's sailing school, based at the Plobsheim nautical base, offers a range of courses: discovery, advanced or holiday. Courses are organized throughout the summer. Younger children (aged 7 to 12) can try their hand at the Optimist, while older children can take to the water on sailboards, catamarans and dinghies. Supervision is provided by qualified instructors. Fun and fresh!

The leisure center introduces you to a wide range of water sports: catamarans, windsurfers, funboards, canoes, solo or giant paddles are all available for hire. And don't forget the latest addition: a giant paddle for 10 people! Private lessons are also available, as well as group courses from April to October, upon reservation. All supervised by friendly, qualified staff. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned freshwater sailor, there's something for everyone at the Centre Nautique de la Madine.

This base is dedicated to sailing and wind sports. Diving and other underwater sports are also practiced here. It's an offshoot and spot of ACAL, the Aquatic Club d'Alsace et de Lorraine, best known for wingfoil. The base remains open as long as weather conditions permit. The large clubhouse room is at your disposal for changing, sheltered from the wind and rain. If you're not yet a member of ACAL but would like to join the team, you can sign up on site.
