A leading and renowned dance school in the Colmar region. Cathy Wroblewski started classical dance under the eyes of her mother Coco Wroblewski (founder of the school) at the age of 6. After a classical training, Cathy was introduced to modern jazz with Matt Mattox (world-renowned dancer, choreographer and teacher) at the Jazz'Art school in Paris. All this is complemented by tap dancing classes and an introduction to Indian dance and tai chi! This mix of techniques now feeds Cathy Wroblewski's teaching methods, in a good mood and with respect for everyone's abilities. Since 1981, Cathy has been teaching classical dance and modern jazz to children from 4 years old as well as teenagers and adults. She also runs contemporary dance and floor bar classes, modules specifically dedicated to seniors as well as private classes for future brides and grooms who want to master the subtleties of waltz or salsa. Special mention to the room where the classes take place: clear and calm, it is equipped with a beautiful wooden floor and an efficient ventilation system in summer. Cathy is passionate about her job and manages to pass on her passion to her students, it's a gift. Finally, it should be noted that each year the Wroblewski dance school presents a performance that gives students the opportunity to perform in public while participating in choreographic and staging work.

After fifteen years of dancing with the greatest all over the world, the world breakdance champion, Ismaël Taggae, has realized his dream: open his own studio to share his passion for dance! Here, the trend is rather urban between hip-hop, breakdance and street afro, but you will also find more classical styles: modern jazz, street girly and many others. The studio is open to all ages, starting with early learning workshops from 4 years old, classes for children from 7 to 12 years old and for teenagers from 13 to 17 years old, without forgetting adults. Young Champagne is an association of adults and children who dance regional folklore. Performances in costumes of Troyes, dating from the 1850 s and in place for soyottes, swing, quadrilles, jig, where you must lift the very high leg, or the corporate dance of gardeners. Rehearsals take place at home every Wednesday from 19 am to 21 pm. It takes at least 13 years to register. Kwi-Ka is an association offering contemporary African dance, samba and zumba classes. The classes are led by Katia Matar, an adventurous choreographer trained in New York and Paris, whose motto is the blending of cultures, tradition and creation. Although the association is based in the station area, classes take place on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings at the Foyer Sainte-Madeleine (1B, rue du Fossé des Orphelins) or at Cardek (place des Orphelins, Strasbourg).

School created by our local Pin Up: Luna Moka! La Clandestine is an original establishment that offers courses with very little known dances. You can learn about the Charleston, the French cancan or even the burlesque stripping! The classes take place in an intimate atmosphere, in small groups, which makes you feel very comfortable. A former aircraft repair factory during the Second World War, the 300 m² school is spread over 3 levels and has two classrooms of 80 m² each. The advantage of the structure? The diversity of the courses and the very atypical dances. But be careful, don't stop at the price of year-round courses that can be scary.

With over 750 square meters of parquet flooring, the Académie Micka Marquès will give you plenty of time to learn to dance without stepping on your partners' toes. This year sees a number of new features in addition to the venue. Firstly, you'll be learning from four new, young but ultra-talented teachers chosen for their teaching skills. You'll also discover new dances: adult contemporary, adult hip hop, zumba kids, Lady style ados, and the famous and sexy adult heels.

Tip Top TAP: an activity full of percussive promise, offers a journey to the wonderful land of clapping, with a discovery of the different techniques used in tap dancing, from the magic moments of the American musical, through the Irish art, but also using tap as a percussion instrument. This timeless art combines physical exercise with a playful hobby and represents a very complete enrichment by developing balance, coordination, listening, memory, concentration, creativity, space management, group life..

Sixty tap dancers from 10 to 80 years old come from all over the region to share their passion, every Monday and Tuesday evening, according to five levels of adult classes, a children's/teenagers' class, workshops, training courses, etc., at Loisirs et Culture 11 bis rue des Couvents in Montigny-lès-Metz. In response to the enthusiasm for this activity, Tip Top TAP is offering a beginners' class for the next season: Tuesdays at 7:15 pm. Trial classes are free and without obligation. In 2006, the Strasbourg Conservatoire, founded in 1855, moved to the Cité de la Musique et de la Danse. This renowned school trains musicians, dancers, choreographers and actors. Once their students have passed through the hands of teachers with rich and demanding programs, they present the fruits of their hard labor to anyone who wants to attend an evening event in the auditorium.

It is rare to meet such a full structure! Founded in 1995, the CERAC proposes tens of classes exempted by about twenty certified professors. Varied workshops supporting the expression and the creativity of each one are proposed for all the ages and all the levels. You will be able in particular to practise various dances: classical, Eastern fusion, contemporary, African, ragga, hip-hop, modern' jazz, awakening and initiation for smallest (as of 4 years). The even numbered years, a great show of dance opened to any public is organized with the municipal Theater of Colmar. The CERAC can also make you discover other artistic activities like arts of the circus (juggling, acrobatics...) and the theater (classical or of improvisation). To maintain to you in form in a friendly atmosphere, many classes of Pilates, stretching and fitness are given to any hour throughout the week (including every Saturday morning).

Come and discover or practice Country and Modern Line Dance. Two associations, Country Rose Dancers and Happy Face Band, have joined forces to offer classes and events in Eschau. To match the level of participants as closely as possible, classes are offered for beginners, intermediates and advanced dancers. And because the most effective way to learn is to practice, events are organized throughout the year in the village hall. Landser is a small town in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace. The school offers modern/jazz dance classes as well as ballroom dance classes. Danse Loisirs Landser also offers private lessons for those wishing to work on personalized choreography.

AJC Danse is a dance school located in Wattwiller, Haut-Rhin. For over 25 years, the association has been offering dance classes for all ages. Compagnie Shéhérazade, directed by Christine Kopytko, offers oriental dance classes in the town of Les Noës-près-Troyes. As a professional dancer and teacher accredited by the French Ministry of Culture, Christine provides high-quality teaching through group classes and workshops. Les Noës Loisirs, the association that organizes these courses, also offers the possibility of calling on Christine and her company to host private or public evenings and events. Their oriental dance shows, with their enchanting Thousand and One Nights flavors, promise to enchant all guests.
