France 3 is the regional channel par excellence. Like the other regional channels, the Normandy channel offers news flashes, midday, early evening and late evening newscasts, covering current affairs in the five départements. Special programs and reports are broadcast, including "Dimanche en politique" and "Enquêtes de région", not forgetting documentaries and magazines such as "Vachement Normand" and "Vroum", for motor enthusiasts. The Rouen station has moved to the Right Bank, in a new hangar on the banks of the Seine, not far from France Bleu.

Le Poulpe is a pearl in the Normandy media landscape: it helps to shed light on a sometimes... discreet reality. Headed by two Rouen natives, this independent newspaper specializes in investigating and decoding local and regional news. The Publihebdos group has been publishing a free weekly newspaper in Rouen since 2011: Côté Rouen . With its twenty or so pages, it comes out every Tuesday and offers local subjects centred on the Rouen metropolitan area. You will find the latest news in terms of trade, a portrait of a personality who gives his or her good addresses, good cultural and leisure tips, the week's cinema programme, sports news, and then a page of job offers, produced in partnership with Pôle Emploi. Behind "Where to find what in Caen", a lover of the city, Yannick, had the idea, a few years ago, to create a page so that the people of Caen could exchange their favorites - and their gripes -, good addresses, good tips... Today, it has even become a real network of mutual aid, giving a tremendous resonance to these publications. It is an institution in the Cotentin region. Alongside other daily or weekly newspapers dealing with local news, La Presse de la Manche has been an undeniable success. This success is due to its almost exhaustive coverage of local news, almost village by village! Covering a geographical area stretching from the north of the department to the center of Manche, the newspaper, printed 7 days a week, also offers a lot of practical information and, at the end of the newspaper, two pages on national and international news.

Created 20 years ago by five students, and broadcasting since 2008, it's THE radio station on the Caen campus! Its name is an obvious choice, the Phoenix being the sculpture, the university's figurehead, which sits enthroned at the entrance to Campus 1. Run by some thirty student volunteers, this radio station has all the makings of a big one. You can listen to trendy music (hip-hop, reggae, electro...) during the day, and live broadcasts in the evening (culture, community life, sports...). You don't have to be a student to tune in to 92.7 FM!

France Bleu Normandie has an antenna dedicated to Calvados and Orne. Information, services, games, gifts, advice... we're talking local! The new program schedule includes "6/9" from early morning (now broadcast on France 3 Normandie!), and its afternoon variation, "16/19", as well as "Circuits courts" to find out more about the players who bring the region to life, and of course all the region's sports news.

A nice rejuvenation for this municipal magazine with a circulation of 73,000 copies! Still printed on recycled paper but with a more modern layout, new sections including 8 "Mag" pages on the themes of history, society, culture and sports, we like it! Pictures of the events of the last weeks, news of the districts, reports, portraits of Caen's talents and lights which put forward the big projects of the municipality, events, diary of the outings of the month... Entertaining and interesting to leaf through!

Families looking for ideas to keep your kids busy during their free time? Go to La Tartine, THE smart magazine for 0-12 year olds! Published in 15,000 copies, it is distributed free of charge in 70 towns in Normandy. Can't find it? Flip through it directly on their website. But what does it contain that makes it so popular? A diary of outings to do with children, articles adapted to young readers (including a nice section on the library), all in a practical A5 format to slip into a bag and respect the environment! We had to think about it!

We always think fondly of the creator of this little monthly magazine and are happy to see his Caen Poche still being so popular with the people of Caen! For more than 40 years, the whole of Caen has been snatching up this little magazine. You'll know everything about the cultural events in the Caen area and what's happening in the region. Not to mention the sparkling posts such as Oscar's Caen-Caen or Coup de Plume, and a selection of addresses to move, have fun and, of course, eat. When it comes to keeping abreast of local and regional news, you can always count on Liberté! With its determination to stay up to date, you can be sure of staying informed. And that's not all: the Publihebdos group on which the newspaper depends also publishes Côté Caen, Sport Caen and online news with Actu.fr. The Ouest-France group is first and foremost the daily newspaper of the same name. La Honfleur TV, it's a dynamic team in the service of the promotion of Honfleur! The two Marion, Lorena, Stéphanie, Pierre, Marc and François, guide you through their broadcasts in the streets of the commune, discovering the honfleurais heritage, the history of the city, and sharing the little anecdotes that circulate… The website of the show, well provided, is also worth a look.

You are passing through Caen, the radio is on? You are likely to listen to Europe 2, one of the most popular stations in the area. This popularity is certainly linked to the sense of humor of the hosts who take advantage of almost every moment of the day to entertain the listeners, starting from the moment they wake up. In addition to interactivity and local news, there are games and outings recommended by the editorial staff. Of course, the latest hits of the moment are played.
