This festival celebrates the creation of the state for ten days. Many artists occur throughout the city.

This original festival takes place at Sree Kottankulangara Devi Temple, Chavara in Kollam district. Men dress as women and wear lamps in the temple, offering the deity that presides there.

Festival of Traditional Arts of Malabare Culture. Music, dance, theyyam, kalarippayatt but also literature, theatre… Its aim is to revive a rich cultural heritage and to present different forms of Indian art to the local and tourist population (the entrance, open to all, is free).
