Lovers of fine tableware can't pass through Patrimonio without stopping at Julien Truchon's! This passionate ceramist trained in Burgundy, then in Japan, with potters practicing traditional wood firing, before taking over the workshop of his father, André. Today, Julien specializes in tableware, and his pieces can be found on the best tables in Corsica and on the mainland. In the store, superb installations set the scene for his ceramics with natural elements from the surrounding area. An inspired and inspiring artist!

In his small workshop-garage in the heart of Calenzana, Jean Charles makes knives in the purest tradition of the Corsican knife: the XC75 carbon steel blade is forged with charcoal and retains the old-fashioned raw forged look. You will be able to attend the manufacturing process on the spot. Jean Charles also creates original lamps from metal salvage for a design and current finish of unique pieces. This craftsman, passionate about knives, but also about history, knows how to take the time to meet and exchange.

Valerie exhibits her original and unique creations on recycled wood in her small shop in the heart of Zonza for the pleasure of the visitors. On different supports, but always in wood, she is inspired by what surrounds her while recovering what usually ends up in the trash. Benches, door plaques, decorations to be hung or put up with animals, cars, the constitution of Pasquale Paoli or any theme according to her inspiration or to your requests, because she also works on order. In the heart of the Alta Rocca, this cutlery workshop has been in existence for forty years. Here, two master craftsmen design and create one-of-a-kind pieces in a constant quest for quality and respect for the traditions of artistic forging. The materials they use are carefully selected beforehand. The many stages involved in making a genuine Corsican knife worthy of the name are carried out according to the rules of the craft. Franck Thomas and Jean-François Tramoni present their knives like jewels.

In Lopigna, small village isolated mountain, Serge Martelloni creates and forge its knives. The blades are made of carbon steel or Damas steel. The coves are made from different horns (ram, goat cheese, goat, buffalo or zebu) or ivory of warthog (defences). You will find its production in the shop Art'otel Isula 57, rue Fesch in Ajaccio.

A showcase dedicated to Corsican and international artisan cutlery, it presents the finest creations of French cutlery to hunting enthusiasts. Specializing in Corsican knives, you'll find the work of a number of artisan cutlers: Coutellerie du Lotus, Alexandre Musso and Olivier Moretti, Bertrand Filhol, Jean François Deak, Kevin Muzikar... as well as renowned French and international cutlery.

This little store tucked away in a corner of the citadel is actually the creative workshop of a passionate retiree. Since 2012, Pierre Guerra has been handcrafting a plethora of small objects, including wooden pens, razors, spinning tops, esoteric clocks and, above all, ram's horn knives. You can watch him at work during his many demonstrations, facing the sea. Pierre also works to order, and can make unique gifts for your loved ones!

In his former workshop, Jef Nicolier is a creator of wooden objects. He is an artisan pipe-maker - a craft that is losing its way - and you can watch a video showing the various stages in the manufacture of pipes and other turned wooden objects: pens with inlaid color slices (unique pieces), perfume atomizers, pendants and clocks in noble materials such as olive, juniper and boxwood. The magnificent work of an experienced craftsman that we are delighted to discover and appreciate.
