Inaugurated in 2003 and located on the outskirts of the city, the beautiful auditorium of Tenerife recalls the theatre of Sydney, Australia. It was designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, author of the sports complex of the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004. When you're by the sea, it's tempting to opt for cafés with a view of the sea, but this one is definitely worth a visit. With its superb Art Deco decor and terrace with large rattan armchairs, it's a good address to visit at various times of the day. For a gourmet break, it's the ideal place to savor homemade pastries or ice creams. In the evening, cocktails or wines accompanied by tapas will bring the day to an end in a particularly calm setting, next to the church. These are just some of the reasons why it has become a popular meeting place for many Puerto de la Cruz residents.

With its delightful terrace in the shade of century-old ficus trees and its Canarian kiosk design that smells good in the 1960s, this café has a Cuban feel to it and has everything to become the place to be at some point, between two visits to the city or on your way back from the beach. Depending on the time you choose, you can enjoy a smoothie, one of the many types on offer, or a very successful "barraquito especial", or some tapas. It is also the best observatory for the animation of the square.

This theatre, built in 1847, was the first architectural project in the city. This edifice of classical romantic architecture was built by Manuel de Oraa in place of the old convent of Santo Domingo. Affectionately known as the bombonera (the springtime) by its inhabitants, this theatre has been named after 1923, when it was renamed to the honour of playwright Angel Guimera. This is where part of the Canary music festival takes place in January and February of each year. He visits for his beauty and history.

Feel like partying? This is the place to go, in this rock café located on the busiest avenue in downtown Corralejo. Live concerts are programmed there every evening, with a different band that provides the atmosphere and allows you to wait for drinks or small dishes in complete peace of mind. This Rock Cafe is mostly frequented on Friday and Saturday evenings and therefore a little crowded and hectic, but it also remains very pleasant to drink a drink during the week. It is not visible from the outside, but it is worth going in. We go there for its pretty decoration in the heart of a cave painted in white that is a reminder of the houses of Lanzarote and the intimate atmosphere that emerges from the different rooms with dimmed lights. Where you can sit comfortably on cushions that could not be more cosy and colorful. The cocktails and smoothies offered are excellent. The place also houses a small indoor garden and a lounge area to connect to the Internet. Regular musical jam sessions.

First reason to go, this bar was awarded as the best cocktail bar in Spain, excuse me, in 2014. And as if that wasn't enough, you'll also come here because its terrace offers very nice views of the Vegueta district, since it's located at the top of the Monopol shopping centre.

It is one of the most singular buildings in the city of Las Palmas. The last work of the architect Oscar Tusquet, it was built from 1993 to 1997 with the idea of building a lighthouse that would protect the Las Canteras sea promenade. Here you can attend concerts given by the Las Palmas Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the oldest in the world, created in the 19th century. And enjoy a magnificent setting and incredible acoustics due to wooden panels and a huge bay window opening to the sea behind the stage.

The bar has two sides for two moods. On one side, a large terrace to sip a cocktail with its friends and watch who passes in the surrounding area, on the other, a shaded space with spacious darkroom, videos X and even sling. Customers rather bear.

Hosted by Dieter and Jeffrey, this bar, which attracts a rather young clientele, is a more popular DS of Du, especially with German and Dutch tourists. Don't miss the raffle game organized by Miss Brewing Hills, a colourful transvestite organised every Wednesday. Nor the maison maison, every night. 

On a small square located in the colourful streets of the old fishermen's quarter, this café can be used as a stopover during the day, to taste all the variations of coffee, with condensed milk, ice, cream... In the evening, cocktails will take over, to be enjoyed inside or on the terrace, installed in very comfortable rattan armchairs. One of the drinks that works at any time of the day and is particularly appreciated here is the Lumumba (like Patrice), chocolate, whipped cream and rum. Whose idea was that name?

"Life is too short to drink a bad coffee" is the slogan of the house that is immediately displayed at the entrance of this modern and bright space, entirely dedicated to this beverage. With what it takes multiple varieties including a very wide selection of South American origins, and knowledge on the part of baristas to be able to satisfy the most demanding in this field. Tea is not forgotten. Small corner with a large table to work while enjoying it. You can also opt for the terrace, with a view of the cathedral.

This café 7 does not immediately reveal its secrets, you will first have to enter the number indicated, follow the corridor to reach the first space, a large closed lounge, with bar and large tables. You can also settle in the large wooded patio, carefully decorated with mismatched recycling furniture where a rather young clientele has its habits. Drinks and tapeo in self-service. The place hosted a few concerts but the neighbours wanted to put an end to them. During a visit, you may attend one of the debates that are organized from time to time.

How can you resist the charm of this magnificent garden of the Casino de La Laguna? This is impossible, as it is the ideal place to take a break between two visits to the old town and have a drink. You can sit at one of the small tables that dot the garden among the trees or on the terrace that surrounds this small modernist style palace, built at the beginning of the 19th century. This will be equivalent to a pause out of time, with only the background noise of the fountain as a background. Which you can always liven up with a sweet break.
