Railway station Catalonia

This station is home to the Rodalies de la Catalunya system, between our RER and TER trains in terms of distances travelled. With regular services to Barcelona Sants, including a stop in Girona, to the south (every 20 minutes or so) and to Portbou, with a stop in Llançà, to the north. There is another link between Mataró and Portbou, with a stop in Blanes and Figueres. If you are coming from Barcelona, this is the station that takes you most to the city centre.

Two TGV trains run between Paris and Figueres (5h30). There are also other TGV connections with Lyon, Toulouse and Marseille. It is also home to the AVE, the Spanish equivalent of the TGV to Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona, with eight trains per day in both directions. Once you arrive in the station, you will have a regular shuttle service linking the station and the centre of Figueres (bus connection).

The Adif-Gerona-Costa Brava railway station is located not far from the centre of Girona and next to the bus station. It provides regional (e.g. Figueres), national and international connections. In addition to the classic lines, the station also hosts the AVE line (equivalent to the French TGV) which serves Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona. As well as the TGVs from Barcelona to Paris. You will find shops, a left-luggage office located on the AVE platform (no obligation to take it) and a cafeteria. Numerous taxis at the different doors.

Locker Barcelona is located right next to the Plaça de Catalunya, close to the airport shuttle buses and the various public transport services, including the train station and the port. Their lockers work with an electronic code that gives you secure access to your personal belongings all day long. The venue is monitored by security cameras and offers free access to changing rooms. It is possible to make a reservation online. The space is suitable for disabled people.
